If you think about it, the evolution of earth and life, it is such a beautiful process that matured our planet to what it is today. Evolution from a mass of reactive gases to the formation of The Great Barrier Reef, from protoplasm to the two tusked African elephant, from survival to sex change and from raw plucked roots to the Fusion Kitchen.
We have come to an age were innovation in food has gained all its importance. We might not be far from the time when authentic cuisines will be hard to find in the wake of all the fusion food serving restaurants. The already high rated Fusion Kitchen gained my attention on Zomato and there I was eating an early dinner in this little restaurant.
From the designers perspective!
Located at the extreme end of Borivali it is quite some way to travel if you are in the island city. It is not a difficult find courtesy Google maps. The dine in area is not a very big space with seating limited to tables you could count on your fingers. Wooden tables, colourfully upholstered chairs, hanging lights, decaled & tiled walls and a #tfk sign are precisely the interiors of the place. Nothing flashy or unique but is a vibrant yet soothing ambiance.
Drink it baby!
They have quite a notable menu with abundant options in different genres. The mocktails they serve are fantastic. Sipped on Spicy senorita, Kiwi Margarita, Pineapple Mojito and Rocky 5 through the meal. The Spicy senorita was the best of them all. I could not contain myself from hastily sipping on it. You should go to them if you like trying different mocktails.
For the love of food!
The Paneer Peprochinni is cottage cheese cooked with bell peppers and is adequately spiced for the Indian palate. This was a off the menu suggestion by one of the owners and a good one.
Greek Bruschetta was a cold dish with six pieces of Bruschetta served on a platter. Nothing great about this dish. In fact I did not like it too much because of the refrigerated toppings on the bread.
Gallo pinto was an experiment with my anti-Italian food preference. It did not change my perspective though. I would not want to try the dish again but I don’t vote it down either.
Green Thai Curry with rice was the best dish they served this given evening. Like I have said time and again that my love for coconut milk based dishes is something that might favour them positively wrt tot this dish.

The place is diligently supervised by the owners and they take keen interest in every table. One of the chaps happened to address our table and made suggestions upon understanding our preferences. There is a warmth in the staffs behavior and are they serve you with a smile.

If food is the most primary fundamental of a restaurant so is service and they are an example of a fairly balanced article. I might want to go back to them for their sliders that grabbed my attention on the menu and by obvious means their mocktails.
